Carson City Pop Warner Youth Football and Cheerleading proudly welcomes boys and girls ages 5–14 to join a program built on more than just wins and losses. Our mission is simple: to develop confident, disciplined, and resilient young people through teamwork, effort, and community support.

We are a non-profit organization run entirely by dedicated volunteers, and we are honored to be the oldest youth football and cheerleading program in Northern Nevada. Each season, we serve approximately 300 local athletes, providing a safe, structured, and positive environment where kids can learn life lessons that extend far beyond the field.

At CCPW, we believe athletics are a powerful tool for teaching character, accountability, sportsmanship, and leadership. We emphasize respect for teammates, coaches, officials, and opponents—values that shape our athletes into strong competitors and even stronger people.

Academics are just as important to us as athletics. We proudly recognize and celebrate participants who maintain a 3.0 GPA or higher, with opportunities for recognition at both the regional and national levels each season. We strive to reinforce the idea that success in the classroom and on the field go hand in hand.

CCPW also serves as a developmental pathway for high school football and cheerleading, working closely with the Carson High School programs to ensure athletes are prepared for the next level. Our football program aligns with high school terminology and methodology, helping create a smooth transition for players as they grow in the sport.

As a nationally governed Pop Warner organization, CCPW follows consistent rules and safety standards established at the national level. Age and weight divisions are determined with input from national experts, forming the foundation of Pop Warner’s long-standing commitment to player safety and fair competition.

Over the years, CCPW teams have proudly represented Carson City at regional competitions in California and national events in Florida and Las Vegas, showcasing not only athletic talent, but the heart, discipline, and character of our community.
